Sharing ginger beer stories is always a pleasure to me. So it was great to meet with Monica Freeman - Greene co-founder of Uncle Waithley’s Ginger Beer in Harlem New York. Monica responded to my email before I left Manchester and gave me a warm welcome. Like us, their ginger beer is inspired by the Caribbean. Me and my son Adisa had several meetings with Cloudwater as we tested ingredients and tasted recipes. Our final day of brewing was so much fun, it was a great experience working in a large brewery and seeing all the technical side of working at such a big scale.
