Manchester Giants Basketball Team & Root2Ginger

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Manchester Giants who nominated Root2Ginger to receive free LED Board advertising.

The British Basketball League and its clubs issued advertising to support local communities. The sport's organisation hopes the initiative will highlight its commitment to promoting local businesses during the month of October; tackling social issues through basketball.

Clubs throughout the league called on their fans to nominate a local Black-owned small business they felt deserving of the free in-arena advertising before each club selected a final winner from all the nominations made.

During select Thursday and Friday games, including those broadcast on Sky Sports, both the home and away teams had their selected local business advertised on the digital courtside LED boards, with an approximate advertising value of £1,250 per game. Viewership of games is at a high, following a record-breaking season, which saw 20,000,000 live and on-demand views of games.

The Root2Ginger family are huge basketball fans, so this was a fantastic surprise. We appreciate your support and thanks to all the fans who nominated us.
