Manchester-born Deanne launched her all-natural soft drinks brand to celebrate her Jamaican heritage and family traditions. Mother of three Deanne Blake comes from a family who are crazy about ginger. In 1959 Claudia Jones, a Trinidadian human rights activist living in London organised an indoor Carnival and planted the seeds for Carnival in the UK.
